between 1926 and 1976.  Boring and fake or charming ?  Certainly it is
overrun with tourists.

estuary. The site of many chase
scenes in "The Prisoner".
I was stranded here at the station
no hotels or B&B's and no trains
scheduled.  Luckily some rail
workers gave me a lift to Conwy.

Castell Deudraeth named for an
11th century castle but actually a
castellated 18th century cottage.
The narrow gage train that used
to haul slate now hauls tourists up
to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
The relocated Bristol Colonnade
built in 1760 damaged in the War
and moved here in the 60's.
The Minffordd Train station for the
narrow gage line that runs from
Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
